Joanne’s 30 years in haute couture are proof positive of her superb fashion expertise. In the beginning, this proud graduate of the Richard Robinson Academy of Fashion Design – winner of Best Dress Design Award at her graduation – designed and sewed from home. “But, after working alone for years I missed being with people, so I went into retail,” she explains. Joanne loves to mix and match. “There are times when earrings don’t have to match the necklace, when different colours or different fabrics or tops and bottoms work well together,” she says. “It’s fun working with customers in this prestigious boutique with its wonderful clothes and accessories.”
