For Suzanne, every client is a blank canvas, a new creation. “Colour, fashion, shape, texture are my world,” she says. “They’re in my DNA.” Suzanne grew up watching her gifted grandmother fashion fabric into beautiful clothing and accompanying her father, an artist and TV production designer, backstage. “I’d head straight for the costumes,” she laughs. “Dad thought I’d want to meet the actors but, from the very first visit, I was mesmerized by the wardrobe and the power of the transition that took place in a costume.” Today, Suzanne, who has done costume design, uses her considerable expertise to effect marvellous transformation when dressing her clientele.
