La forme de la pomme est la seule avec laquelle on ne naît pas, mais plutôt la forme que certaines personnes prennent après la ménopause et sous l'effet des hormones.
La silhouette d'Apple est définie par :
- Une ligne d'épaules oblique et une rondeur à l'arrière du cou – appelée bosse de la douairière
- Un ventre arrondi qui commence juste en dessous de la poitrine et s'arrondit juste au-dessus des hanches
- Une forte poitrine - en général
- Une ligne de jambe définie

Le point idéal
- Cette morphologie se marie très bien avec les hauts qui mettent en valeur les épaules, le décolleté et la poitrine.
- Vous cherchez la perle rare ? Les vestes longues ou à revers longs transforment complètement une tenue en lui apportant structure et forme.
- Pantalon taille haute ou ceinturé, longueur qui met en valeur les jambes
- Les femmes aux cheveux couleur pomme peuvent porter des bijoux imposants avec panache et des chaussures nude qui allongent la silhouette avec élégance.
- On peut élargir et structurer la ligne des épaules en ajoutant une petite épaulette pour donner subtilement une forme carrée au haut du corps.
- Définissez la ligne de la poitrine. Trouvez un soutien-gorge offrant un bon maintien pour y parvenir et distinguer la ligne de la poitrine de celle du ventre.
- Privilégiez les couleurs et les tons foncés pour affiner le ventre.
Mettez en valeur vos jambes avec des pantalons longs, droits et/ou slim. N'hésitez pas à jouer avec les imprimés et privilégiez les modèles taille haute ou à enfiler pour allonger votre silhouette au niveau du ventre. Ainsi, vous affinerez votre silhouette, soulignerez vos jambes et harmoniserez vos proportions.
Les manches dolman, les hauts à col en V qui dévoilent la clavicule et tous les autres chemisiers à taille péplum sont d'excellents choix.
La coupe empire affine la taille, tout comme la robe portefeuille, qui offre un joli drapé et un décolleté en V original. Pour un effet plus spectaculaire, les femmes à la silhouette en forme de pomme peuvent opter pour une robe asymétrique ou une robe coupée en biais, qui drape la silhouette sans la mouler.

I live in Victoria, B.C., but am lucky enough to visit your store when we visit our son and family in Nepean. Now with COVID of course we have not been to Ottawa since Christmas of 2019. I watch your videos on Facebook and would love to see more plus size clothing modelled on an apple shape like me. Hope to be back in your store once COVID is over. Hi I am an apple shape. In lisette slim pants I would wear a 12 BUT the upper belly and waist are too tight and legs are good. If I go to a 14 the tush and legs are too big. Suggestions for pants that work for me ? Also I love the striped top you showed today and do not know what size to order. I am either a large or extra large. Relaxed shoulder is usually a large should I order that? Thanks for your help.
Can I ever wear wider leg pants? What do I wear on top with my apple shape?

I live in Lethbridge,Alberta and wish you had a Shepherds in Calgary. Or wish I could fly out to your store at least once a week. What fun I would have spending my children’s inheritance 😹.
My question or suggestion to you is I would love it if you could film inside your beautiful store (slowly) and show every square inch of it. When you are showcasing a fashion I am so busy looking at all the fashions, and accessories behind the model that I can’t spend as much time as I would like watching the model. I often find myself often literally drooling at some item showing behind the model and I am so hoping for a closeup of that item, like they do on TSC. Haha. I know your presentation of items will change often so how about when there is a big change showing the new displays.
I’m hoping this would be a possibility and not too much work for your crew. I’m sure I am not alone in my desire.
Should I ever get an opportunity to peruse your store you will definitely know it is me. I am the one who will come in at opening, slowly look, feel, smell each area and item and once done the whole store will start all over again. And when you push me out of the store at closing my Uhaul will be backed up to the door and “my people “ will be loading all of my purchases. I will slowly drive off with tears streaming down my cheeks, both of happiness for my wonderful day and sadness that I have to wait until the next day to start all over again.
